Participants will learn about the value and process of risk assessments, through to identifying and controlling workplace hazards, and the correct procedures in responding to workplace accidents.  This health and safety qualification provides individuals a pathway to higher level training and career development.

• The roles and responsibilities for health, safety and welfare in the workplace
• The value and process of risk assessments
• The identification and control of workplace hazards
• How to respond to workplace incidents and accidents
