Tineke Training Ltd was established by Managing Director and Head Trainer Chris Simmons in 2010. Back then the Company was known as Tineke First Aid (TFA) and we specialised in delivering First Aid Training courses. First Aid remains our core service and we are proud of the fact that we’ve taught thousands of people across the UK, Europe and the Middle East how to save a life. Today our service range includes; Health & Safety Training Qualifications, Mental Health First Aid, Safeguarding Training (children, young people and vulnerable adults), Team-building Challenges and Fun Basic First Aid Skills for Children.
At the heart of all of this is Chris’ passion for educating workforces and individuals of all ages on essential life-saving skills, through to team-working and communication. He also places great importance on the delivery of training.
The quality of training is often overlooked by many providers. Aside from the need for our trainers to be at least Level 4 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), the pre-requisite in becoming a Tineke Trainer is having the ability to actually teach and engage with learners.
Our ability to ‘teach’ is something that we are highly commended on by our varied client base in the UK, Europe and Middle East. Participants find our provision enjoyable and memorable. Importantly, they walk away feeling confident in their ability to administer first aid following injury or illness in the workplace, and adept at dealing with health and safety issues that may arise.
